These include the ability to help the healing process, though if the wounds are too severe she may only be able to partially heal it. She can not stop a person from dying if they are too close to death. Can take spirit walks for guidance, and has a wide knowledge of healing herbs. While she can help the healing process of others she can not heal herself. Also, when she heals people it take energy away from her. Lane has found herself sleeping for up to two days after doing an extreme heal that used a large quantity of her own energy.

Personal Style (write a short paragraph):
Then
Sully prefers wearing blue jeans and tank tops that span a variety of colors. She wears a pair of work boots, so no matter where she has to run she has the footwear. An old army jacket that used to belong to her brother stays in the truck for chilly nights or cold days.
Sully prefers to shoot a bow and arrow as compared to a gun, but knows that an arrow isn't always the right ammo, so Sully has plenty of handguns and shotguns as well. She prefers to keep her hair in twin pigtailed braids so it doesn't get in her way very often. You will rarely ever see Sully without a tattered baseball cap on her head.
Now
She mostly wears cargo pants, because of their many pockets, t-shirts, and her brother’s old army jacket, along with work boots. Her hair is short for low maintenance and so she doesn’t have to worry about it in the middle of a fight. She’s taken to wearing dark eyeliner as well. Also she wears a red feather from a red tailed hawk around her neck.
Sully still has her bow and arrows, though maintenance is a pain. She's stocked up on bow string, wax, and arrow shafts and tips to replace what needs to be. She still has an arsenal of guns and knives for more practical application.
-PERSONAL INFORMATION-
Likes (3 at least): swimming, reading, drinking, thunderstorms, hunting for food, fishing, running, shooting her bow, blowing things up.
Dislikes (3 at least): liars, people infected with the Croatoan virus, people who hurt kids, small places, bananas, starless nights, snow, demons, useless people, idiots
Strengths (3 at least): Tracking, shooting, hunting for food, common sense, making explosives if she has the supplies.
Weaknesses (3 at least):
Dreams for the Future: That they’ll win the war, and maybe find a cure for the C-Virus so that they can maybe save some of the people who were turned.
Fears: Losing what’s left of the human population. Failing herself, losing the war.
Hero(es): Those who have died trying to save the world.
Biggest Secret(s): Sully’s healing abilities have become common knowledge as she uses her powers to help those who are wounded in the camp. However, only a very select few know about Cheveyo or the fact that she can see through her hawks eyes for a brief period of time.
Personality (write a decent paragraph):
Then
Sully is independent, stubborn, and constantly thinking she's the only one she can rely on. Being let down so many times as a child has lead her to distrust most of the people in her life. It gives her a stand-offish attitude, and sometimes even when she's trying to act nice people think her to be a total bitch. Sully tries to pay penance every day by helping whoever she can. She believes she is worthless because of what her father drilled into her head. She also believes this is why she can help to heal others, but can not heal herself.
Now
Over the years Sully has become more patient. She tries to think out a situation before running into it. If you don’t, you could be walking into a trap and wind up dead or worse. While she still has trouble trusting a lot of people, she has learned to trust a few that are close to her. Sully is fiercely protective, and willing to face down any situation if it will help in the war or keep her friends safe. Even if it means giving up her own life in the process.

History:
Then
Born in Albuquerque, NM to a Native American mother and white father, Sully was a product of two worlds. Her father hated the other worlds beliefs, especially after her mother left them. Sully was only eight at the time. Her half brother Lyle was almost sixteen. Her father began drinking and taking out his frustrations on the Sully and her brother. Lyle, no longer being able to take the abuse, left at the age of eighteen for the Marines. She's barely heard from him since.
By the age of fifteen Sully started showing shamanistic tendencies, though she does not have the full potential of a real shaman. She realized this when a bird that slammed into her bedroom window.
Sully took the bird into her room. She was saddened by it's broken wing and gasping breaths. Holding the bird close to her, she felt a twinge of something inside her. Energy seem to swirl from somewhere deep within her. Instinctively she let it wash out over the bird. It's breathing eased, and the wing, while still dinged, didn't seem to be broken anymore. She had healed it, if only partially, enough to where it would survive. After, Sully felt a bit tired and slept for a few hours. It was the first time she had used her ability, but not the last.
Sully began testing her ability, trying to control it, and heal those around her as discreetly as she could. The more energy she used to heal people, the more tired she became. She also learned, after falling off of her bicycle that she couldn't heal herself and instead had to get stitches.
When Sully was seventeen, she and her father were attacked by a skinwalker. Skinwalkers are witches who are able to take the form of animals. This particular one was in the form of a bear, and it's eyes shown bright red. It broke through the door, with razor teeth and sharp claws. Sully tried to get away, but the skinwalker hit her with it's gigantic paw. It's claws tore into her shoulder and then it knocked her across the room. She didn't have time to scream before darkness claimed her.
Sully awoke to find her fathers bloodied body on the floor, already dead. The skinwalker was gone. Sully herself was injured, having lost a lot of blood, and barely able to keep her eyes open. Grabbing the phone she called 911, and then passed out again.
The police called it a bear attack. While she was in the hospital, Sully fell into a trance, going on her first spirit walk. In the 'other realm' as she likes to call it, she met someone who told her what the skinwalker was. It showed her the truth, and guided her towards the path of a hunter. Now, whenever she needs advice she goes for a spirit walk, though it's never the same twice.
At eighteen, Sully left home. She picked up tips and tricks while working at run down diners and off the road type places. Including things about the supernatural and the tools she would need to pick up along the way.
Sully saved up enough to buy an old model, blue Chevy truck. She put a tool box in the back and hollowed out the bottom to put all her tools in. She makes extra money by hustling, winning archery tournaments, and sometimes taking an honest job now and then. In the mean time she's off hunting whatever her comes her way.
I took the skinwalker legend from Native American lore. You can find some lore on it here: www.rense.com/general77/skin.htm
Now
If someone had told Sully a few years ago that the world was going to end and she would wind up working closely with Dean Winchester in a camp full of survivors she would have laughed in their face. They were never the best of friends and when left together for a long period of time they were more inclined to shoot each other than have any sort of civil conversation.
Sully thought of Dean as a self centered egotistical jerk who thought way too highly of himself. Until they wound up being connected, mind and body. That was a stressful, agonizing time for both of them, but they also learned a lot about each other, and Sully realized something’s about Dean that made her gradually begin to trust him.
Still, they often bumped heads more often than not which lead to arguments and frustration. Sully went her separate way, only calling in Dean when she thought he could help on a hunt. It wasn’t because of her personality, but because she had learned that she could trust him when it counted.
She continued hunting as usual until the outbreak of the Croatoan Virus. When all hell broke loose there as a large battle for survival, one that she fought with Dean, and one that Sully almost didn’t survive. Her throat was sliced open from just under her ear to the center of her neck. Dean was able to get the demon possessed bastard off of her, but the wound was deep and the demon had nicked the carotid artery.
Dean attempted to staunch the bleeding, but it was futile. Sully was bleeding out and while she’d always been able to heal others she’d never been able to heal herself. She tried to tell Dean it would be okay, to keep fighting, but her voice wouldn’t work and she lost consciousness.
Sully had always been able to take spirit walks, so when she woke up in the garden she’d created for herself, she figured her mind had brought her there to die. It was peaceful and serene. She wasn’t expecting, however, for someone else to be in the garden with her.
Instincts made her wary, but he introduced himself as Cheveyo. He’s Sully’s spirit guide. Cheveyo explained that only those so near death, became true shamans. It was news to Sully. Cheveyo helped her repair the damage to her own body, and told her that the only time they would be able to speak was if Sully were in a deep meditative state or if she were close to death. He showed her ways to channel her energy more so that she wouldn’t get so tired after healing someone. The last thing Cheveyo provided her with was the tail feather of a red tailed hawk. She had always noticed the red tailed hawks, but thought them to be different birds of the same species. Cheveyo had informed her that it had always been the same one, watching over her. Her animal guardian.
All of this seemed to take hours, but when they’re conversation was over and Sully awoke, Dean was carrying her away from the battle. Only minutes had passed in the real world, and Dean has risked his life to make sure she didn’t die alone. The red feather Cheveyo had given her was in her hand.
It was then she realized that while Dean may get on her nerves that he was probably one of the best people she knew and that their best bet of surviving this, was working together. In the months after, she helped him establish Camp Chitaqua and quickly became his right hand man in what seemed a war with no end in sight.
Within those months Sully also realized that while she can heal others much better and with much more ease, she can only heal herself with the help of Cheveyo when she’s near death. Otherwise she has to heal naturally.
She wears the feather Cheveyo gave her around her neck. When Sully was well enough she held the feather in her hand and said Hanuwa. Sully didn’t know how she knew the word, but she did. Loosely translated it means Hawk. It soared down from the sky and came to land in front of her. She also didn’t know how she knew to say Aya Atalista Agowadvdi. As soon as she did, she was seeing through the hawks eyes. This doesn’t last long, usually less than thirty seconds. The only way she could figure to know these things that Cheveyo told her during their time together.
Sully resides at Camp Chitaqua with the survivors. The hawk, that they named Screech, since has an affinity to screech wildly if there is a thread coming their way, is a constant companion to Sully, and a sort of mascot to the kids in the camp, and Screech definitely loves the attention. She’s doing the best she can to survive and help others to survive as well, maybe find a cure, or at least make it safe for humans to live again. The only person she’ll take orders from is Dean, and even then she has no problem telling him if she thinks he’s being an idiot.
-FINAL DETAILS- Hanuwa = Hawk, Aya Atalista Agowadvdi = Lend Me Vision

Other Details You'd Like to Add: Sully has not become fluent in any Native American languages. These are just a few words Cheveyo passed onto her subconsciously so she could contact her animal guardian.

Kneeling in the woods Sully looked at the tracks, her gaze following them in the direction the buck had gone. People were hungry. It wasn’t like they could just go on down to Walmart to pick up meat or get a burger from the drive through at McDonalds. Sully had hunted before the outbreak. It wasn’t a necessity then, but she always did prefer her meat fresh. Now though, Sully was glad she knew how to get food when she needed to.
There was a camp full of survivors who needed to eat, and the only way they were going to do that was if Sully got this damn buck that kept eluding her. Screech, the redtailed hawk that is her animal guide, let out a cry that seemed more like laughter to her. “Ya ya, yuck it up.”
Sully grabbed the red feather that she wore constantly around her neck and was tempted to ask Screech to loan his vision, but she quickly discarded the thought. She needed to keep her skills sharp, and relying on Screech for something as simple as hunting for food would only dull her senses. She let the feather fall to rest back against her chest and continued following the tracks.
When she finally caught up to the buck it was sipping water out of the stream. Sully had a Bambi flashback for a moment before raising her bow. She never felt bad about killing their food. It was survival. The outbreak had cost so many so much. Besides fighting, this was just another way she could help.
Sully let the arrow fly. It soared through the air slamming into the buck’s chest and through it’s heart. It fell over and was dead by the time she reached it. Sully pulled her arrow out and sighed. She wasn’t too far from camp, but damn if this buck wasn’t big. It was going to be a heavy haul, but at least people would have a warm meal tonight.
