Bobby and John Winchester were friends, however they had a fall out and Bobby almost filled him with a buckshot the last time he saw him. However Bobby was more then willing to help his boys out when they were looking for him.
Sam and Dean have become like family to him, and Bobby tends to be overprotective of each of them. The demons know this, and would try and use it against them except for the most part, Bobby has outsmarted the ones that have come about in his home. Bobby built a panic room in his spare time, which would keep out demons and spirits.
Bobby drives a blue Ford tow-truck with a South Dakota plate on the back.
Anytime Sam and Dean get on each others nerves its usually Bobby who tries to mend things. Bobby is a kind caring person, but he won’t take shit from anyone or anything.
Now that it is 5 years later with the apocalypse upon them, Bobby knows more then anything that he has to help Dean keep things safe and secure at Camp. He’s depressed from time to time because they generally lost Sam. He knows Dean is facing it ten times worse but doesn’t know how to help him or if he even WANTS help.
Bobby wants things to be alright again. He wants the world to go back to how it used to be, but he knows that will never happen. Now he is a chef at Chitaqua and that’s what he does best. He wants to know that the survivors are happy and he also supplies all the food for the camp. Sometimes that will include going out hunting to get more.

Pissed off was one thing you didn’t want to see Bobby as. Bobby was generally a nice and understanding person, and he loved Dean and Sam like they were his sons, but this time…he was beyond pissed. Sure he knew it wasn’t Dean’s fault and he knew it wasn’t Sam’s but this….what was happening now…. Could have been avoided if the two digits just listened to one another once and a while. Bobby knew that the brothers changed, drastically. He also knew that things might never be the same again, still though…Bobby was skeptical.
Bobby was downstairs making breakfast after it happened. After Lucifer was freed by Sam Winchester. He heard about it, Hell, every hunter he knew heard about it. But this….. this would send Gorden Walker rolling in his grave. What Sam has become, and Dean…..being the stubborn ass that he was sometimes was pushing Sam further away rather then trying to get him to come to terms with things.
Dean wouldn’t even call Sam before it happened, and THAT pissed Bobby off more then anything. Dean was acing just like his Daddy was. A coward. He pushed Sam further away rather then trying to get his head in the game. It was no wonder Sam was so against hunting. With being forced into it Bobby really couldn’t blame the kid. Sam wanted a normal life, that was all he ever wanted, and John….John knew what Sam was and pushed that life away from him. Of course he knew that there was no way for Sam to have a normal life, being what he was, but still….John shouldn’t have pushed him away so much, and now Dean wouldn’t even call Sam and the whole thing turned into kaos.
Now Bobby was cooking breakfast because the two brothers returned. Bobby barely said two words to them when they arrived back knowing what had happened, he needed time to cool off. He didn’t want to go into the “I told you so’ thing with either of them right now. It wasn’t what they needed. Sam needed a good talking too, by the both of them and Dean….Dean needed to let up on his brother a little or he was going to wind up pushing him even further away.
As Bobby heard Dean approach he sighed wondering if he could still hold his tongue. He was going to try as hard as he possibly could. He certainly wasn’t blaming either of them for what happened. No. Heaven played them, Hell played them. The angels had been playing Sam all along, he just followed the right roads, but Dean…. Dean had enough guilt on his shoulders to last a lifetime. No Bobby would go easy on him. They were family.
Bobby turned around and nodded at Dean, “Eggs?” he asked him and then he looked at him more closely. “Damit boy,” he said pulling a chair up for him, “You look like Hell just froze over, and I don’t mean literally,” Bobby said. Bobby looked at Dean, “Alright that’s it. I’ve held my tongue, your going to start talking boy,” he said, “And your not hiding a thing. You think I don’t know that you remember Hell? You think I don’t know what’s going on with Sam? Well I’m TIRED of being a third wheel here,” he said to Dean. “Your going to start talking, and don’t spare the details” Bobby said
