Strengths (3 at least):Due to being a shapeshifter, she has enhanced senses such as sight, taste and smell. Along with these enhanced senses, she is able to sense the strong emotions from people when she meets them (lust, anger, revenge, hurt) When in her wolf form, she is incredibly fast, slightly faster than the average wolf. Alexis has also discovered that she has some accelerated healing too.
Weaknesses (3 at least):Alexis feels that her sense of smell is a weakness, she can smell all sorts and if it's an overpowering smell it can make her feel sick and dizzy
With her accelerated healing, she leaves things to heal naturally, not knowing if it is in the right position or if it's cleaned properly. Due to this, she has had a couple of bones re-broken and realigned a long with a couple of infections.
When she is in wolf form, she retains the intelligence and clarity of mind she had when she was a human. However, she finds it difficult to morph back into human form and so, if she gets emotional, they will mix with her wolf instincts. So, if Alexis was feeling angry and threatened, because of her wolf instincts, she would attack and try to kill whatever/whoever caused these emotions. Something else that con be construed as a weakness is her anger. She has developed techniques to keep her calm and so it is now a rare occasion for it to happen. However, when she does get angry,it is to the extreme and she unwillingly transforms into a wolf. This is bad because, as said before, her emotions combine with wolf instinct and she will attack.
Dreams for the Future:Unsure if she will even have a future.
Fears:Not finding her parents, her 'condition being known' and dying.
Hero(es):Still her parents.
Biggest Secret(s):Her being a Loup Garou. She doesn't want more of the campers to find out.
Personality:
Lex has been brought up with impeccable manners and knows to be polite in company, making her seem to be the good girl at any social functions. Don't let this fool you because she has the temper that was thought to be only associated with redheads. She has always been passionate about things, and very strategic and precise in all her planning, making her as mischievous as they come. However, to contradict this, she is always studious and gets all of her homework done in time. Because of her studious nature, Lex has a slightly above average intellect and prides herself on her wit and although it is the lowest form of wit, she is particularly fond of her sarcasm. She showed some confidence and independence at a young age although she wasn't as outgoing as other children her age. She formed a tight knit group of friends and her confidence grew even more.
After being cursed, she withdrew on herself, becoming quite depressed and self-reliant, due to the fact she couldn't tell her secret for 101 days. She was upset and in despair about her situation and tried to bottle all of her strong, negative feelings up. Most of her depression, when she let her walls slip, came out as anger at getting herself into that situation. Her parents thought nothing of it except for being a rebellious teenager although she wasn't one quite yet.
After the move to Canada, seeing a chance at a new life, Lex enrolled into martial arts classes, using the sport to channel her anger. She opened up more and wasn't so independent that she isolated herself. Her outlook changed and she started talking to people in school again.
Ever since her encounter with a Loup-Garou, she has remained suspicious of all people and won't trust them or respect them until they have proven themselves. She remains hard and aloof to strangers, but to her parents she is the same girl she was at the age of nine. Lex, since moving, has become sly, cunning and quite manipulative to get things to go her way. She insists and installs rules but she always bends them.
Now an adult and on her own, Lex has retained her manners and politeness although it seems forced and she seems almost cold to the people she meets. She feels she hasn't got time for them and can be quite harsh and unnecessary in her comments to them
2010+:Her personality seems to have reverted some what. She has gone back into her shell and is quite stoic, stand off-ish and can be quite rude. She has gone back to spending time by herself. Because a few people have found out about her condition and don't trust her as far as they could throw her. Alexis likes to be alone but she doesn't want anymore campers to find out and isolate her completely. She likes the reassurance that someone is in fact there for her to talk to.
She hides her softer side under a harsh facade and generally has a frown or scowl on her face.

History:
Alexis had always been an outgoing, bubbly and confident child and her parents soon found out that she drew children and adults alike, just like a flame would draw a moth. Being an only child, she thought it to be paramount that she get as many friends as possible and so, by the time she was eleven, she had friends of all ages. Like any other eleven year old girl, she had a small group of friends that she was the closest too and they did everything together. There were only five of them including herself but Jo, Hannah, Lisa and Kate were like sisters and had a penchant for mischief
It was a day during the school summer holidays when Jo's parents had organised a sleepover for them. They had a fun day out and went shopping, and afternoon show at the cinema and then to the town park before heading home with Jo's dad. When they arrived home, the girls got into the pj's ready for home movies and pizza. It hit nine O'clock and Jo's Mum and Dad had gone to bed so they didn't get in there way when Kate realised she'd lost her necklace and begun to cry. Alexis felt bad for her friend because that was the necklace she was given by her Dad before he had died because of an illness.
"Did you have it when we came out of the cinema?" Lisa's quiet voice spoke up only to be drowned out by sounds of sobbing.
"Yeah but I don't--" Kate trailed off due to more tears and it made Lex's heart break a little.
With this in mind and a determination to rival that of a soldier's, Alexis declared that she would go and get it. Her group of friends began to protest but she silenced them all with a glare, "Look, if anyone can do it, it's me. Just let me borrow your bike Jo and I'll go and look for it. Just, don't tell your parents." With that done, she snuck out of the door, mounted the bike and peddled, clad in only her pj's and trainers, to the town park.
It took her fifteen minutes tops to cycle from Jo's house to the park, not long but at night time it seemed to take hours. She cycled through the gates and quickly jumped off the bike, going to each of the apparatus that they had been on. She reached the swing and noticed something glinting in the street light and bent down and picked it up. She sighed in relief when she realised it was the necklace. She quickly clasped it around her neck to keep it safe.
Alexis turned to go back to her bike when she jumped and let out a squeal. Standing, not too far away from her was a wolf. She blinked once and then again to make sure she wasn't imagining it. It headed towards her and fear gripped at her,the rhythm of her heart climbed, her eyes widened and she began to shake. Then she realised that it was limping, one paw elevated as it hopped and it was whimpering. Lex was scared witless but saw that it had injured itself and went over to it. She noticed some glass so she gently pulled it out and noticed that it had started to bleed. As she stood up, she looked down to the wolf but only noticed feet. Her head shot up to look at the man with a bloody hand and screamed. He covered her mouth and told her what he was. He told her that he was a man who can change into a wolf whenever he wished. It was a blessing and a curse. He turned to look in the distance but his attention was drawn back to her when she began to struggle.
"You are now a Loup-Garou. Only for 101 days mind you but if you speak of this encounter, of what I am and of what you saw, you become one permanently. If you do not speak of it, you will return to normal human state." As soon as he had finished, he ran into the shadows, leaving the young girl shaking violently.
After a couple of seconds she ran to the bike and peddled as fast as she could until she got to Jo's. She snuck in through the front door, took of the necklace and sat quietly on the couch, ignoring her friends and their thanks. They didn't notice that she was quiet, pale and still shaking.
Fifty days later, she caved to her parents and told them what happened, immediately breaking down crying. They didn't believe her and this caused her to become angry. They were her parents. She their only child and they didn't believe her. Without realising it, she had turned into a small russet brown wolf cub. Not a baby, yet not fully grown. Her parents were shocked to say the least. Her mother fainted but her father left her on the floor, instead to cautiously approach Alexis. Her inner wolf sensed he was no threat and nuzzled his hand. All she wanted to do was hug her Dad and the next thing she knew, she was getting taller and was snuggled in the embrace of her father.
As her teenage years progressed, she dealt with being a Loup-Garou. It was hard at first, she was always moody and became angry real quick especially during school. She had to run out of the class room and to the toilets if she became too incensed due to the fear that she would morph into a wolf. This caused her to get into a series of detentions and in trouble with the teachers and head teacher of the school. She didn't care anymore. her life had irrevocably changed so a few detentions weren't hurting her. The loss of her friends, however, did. She had distanced herself from them, not wanting them to find out what she was.
Her life from then on just became a routine, get up, have breakfast, go to school, learn, come home, eat, shower, bed. The same every day all term and on weekends it was the same, except for the fact that she worked on her Impala instead of go to school.
Her parents were worried about her and with everything that had happened, decided that a fresh start would be good. They moved to Winnipeg, Canada and although she was reluctant at the start, Lex warmed to the idea of a new start. A start where she could be herself more.
She held this thought true and made new friends although she didn't go out everywhere with them. She was still perceived to be a bit of a loner and closed off but she still had friends.
Lex finished up school and took up a job at a local, well of mechanics. He taught her new things and helped her finish her Impala. He would make jokes at her accent but she didn't care. He was the nicest man she had met and he payed her even though she was supposed to be there only for experience, hence why she called it a job.
At the age of twenty she moved out of her parents and with the money she earned bought a little crappy flat. She didn't care because she was out all night anyway, roaming the streets, doing a pub crawl. It was some seedy little pub where she had her first encounters with Demons. It was indirect contact with them because she witnessed a fight and noticed their eyes bled into solid black orbs and, being the ever studious girl, she researched and eventually found legends and lore about creatures with the ability to turn their eyes black. After narrowing down the only conclusion she could come up with was that they were in fact demons. However indirect contact it was, it was the ultimate exposure of demons into her life.
A few months later, on her twenty first birthday, she moved out. She had been feeling restless for a while and needed to move, to travel. She packed her bags, sold her flat and went traveling.
On her travels, she seemed to be drawn to the seedier pubs, the ones where a lot of Demons hung out. She got into a few scraps, some accidental, some due to bets. Each time she came out tops. They all felt that, because she was small at 4ft 11", they could take her down easily. They were clearly wrong. She was a fighter, a protector and she gave her all in everything she did. She remained cold, emotionally detached and drew on all of her strength and fighting skills to win. She did, however, feel remorse for some of the demons she did attack. Well, in actual fact it wasn't for the demons but instead for the bodies they inhabited. Lex may have acted cold and aloof but she still had a heart.
This was the same story for just over a year, she earned her money by fighting in underground fight clubs and rings. She only did this occasionally when she was really low on cash or needed to vent because although 80% of the time she won, her body needed to recover completely and then she needed to train again. The other way she earned her money was to enter karaoke competitions but when she heard about the deaths of adults and children, the speculation that wolves were behind it, Lex thought different. They were too precise in their nature to be wolves, were, normal or Loup-Garou. Something was imitating and doing a damned near good impression too. Finding out the cause had just been made top of her list.
2010+:
Alexis managed to hunt down what was imitating wolf attacks and killing the children and adults. She tracked them down using her sense of smell in her wolf form and it lead her to an ordinary house. She morphed back into her human state to pic the lock and enter and once that had been done, she changed back into her wolf form. She followed the scent upstairs, where it got heavier and stronger. She nudged the partially closed door open to fid a middle aged man sitting there in the middle of a room with the walls plastered in photographs of his handy work. This confused her at first because she didn't think demons were so careless but that's when she realised he wasn't a demon. Just some sick, twisted human being who got his kicks murdering innocent men, women and children and framing wolves. Alexis was going to end it. End him.
***
She padded out of that very same room half an hour later, her fur matted, paws leaving bloody trails and her muzzle covered in blood. Her work was done, she showed him what a real wolf attack looked like. What? She wasn't a goody two-shoes. The arse deserved everything she gave him.
After her little murderous bout, she spent her time traveling, trying, visiting clubs and getting drunk. She even spent a few weeks with a demon causing some mischief in a sleepy little town in Michigan. She didn't do anything too serious except for join in the little underground fight clubs he started. She was enjoying herself for the first time in a long time. It wasn't until he blatantly murdered someone for no reason that she left. She didn't rip him a new one or show absolute hate, she just told him it was time to move on.
That was how she spent the majority of her time, earning money in fight clubs or hustling pool when she was recovering. Alexis enjoyed those times, just having no particular care in the world, socialising with humans and demons a like. Until it went tits up.
Basically, it was the fucking apocalypse. Chaos was taking over, people being murdered left right and centre. It was an 'Every man for himself' situation. Alexis, funnily enough, seemed to thrive in this type of situation. However, she only thrived for a few months and the deaths and sheer loneliness that crept up on her leaving her in want.
She drove around, stealing petrol, food and clothes to stay healthy and alive. The further she drove, in any direction, the less people and more demons she saw. She'd heard of certain camps, sanctuaries for humans and everyone 'good'. Sure, she indulged in illegal activities, conspired with a couple of demons but she did not want a world over run with them. They would wipe out the human race and have Lucifer in charge. No thanks, she'll pass.
Her day had started of shitty and just progressively got worse. She woke up in a grump, she had no food and her baby was running out of fuel with no town in sight. So she was grateful when she saw a sign for a town that was nought but five minutes away.
It wasn't until she reached the outskirts of what seemed to be an abandoned town that something interesting happened. She was ambushed. They kept coming at her, attacking her with all sorts, hitting her, kicking her. The fact that they had her surrounded made her angry. She despised being enclosed, the feeling of being trapped and they were making it worse. Her temper quickly snapped and she changed into a wolf, her clothes dropped from her body as she stood and bared her teeth and at them. It seemed to have stunned all of them except for one who thought it be imperative to throw a silver knife into her flank.
She howled in pain, a rumble building in the back of her throat. She eyed all of them before backing up slightly and collapsing, quickly morphing back into her human state. Tears streamed down her cut face as she clenched her teeth, yanked the knife out and slid it away. And just to top off her shitty day, she was then doused in water. Glaring, in pain and anger and humiliation at being naked, she eyed the group. "Is that anyway to treat someone who has yet to cross your devil trapped border?!" She whipped off her belt and tightened it across her thigh, crying out a little in pain, to stem the loss of blood. Again, to add to her bad mood, the knife seemed to have nicked the artery. "What if I were a bloody normal human? You would have been happy to beat them to a pulp and then ask questions. You seriously need to sort out your damned priorities!"
She reached for the knife and eyed the man who threw it at her. He seemed to be a cocky bastard and she smirked through the pain, "You sir, have volunteered yourself to help me and my car back to your sanctuary."
After much debate and four additional, armed escorts, she was taken back to their sanctuary, Camp Harvelle. She was thrown in to the medical cabin and was promptly treated but once that was done, it seemed that everyone avoided her like the plague but not before she found out that the group that had retrieved her were newbies at the reconnaissance mission.
It seemed Alexis' secret was out and everyone thought she would turn into a wolf and eat them and/or their children. Everywhere she went she was ignored, glared at or avoided, leaving her to be lonelier than ever. It also seemed that no matter where she turned, the man that stabbed her was there, smirking at her. That was until she was told to join his team on missions. It was her turn to smirk. Alexis didn't really care that they were using her for her abilities and strength, she just cared that she got to leave the camp. She hated the feeling of being enclosed and caged like an animal.

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick....
Wide eyes stared at the ceiling, not moving, not blinking, her breath inhaled and exhaled in time with the tedious ticking of the clock. Insomnia is what the doctor said. The 'Chronic inability to fall asleep or to enjoy uninterrupted sleep.' She rolled her eyes and swung her legs out of bed, just sitting on the edge and looked at the floor. It annoyed her greatly that she found it so difficult to sleep. She had no reason not to sleep except for the possibility the world as she know it may be destroyed. Okay so there was a reason, but she still didn't understand why it seemed that it was only her.
She got up and padded across to the small wooden chair in her room, stripped off her pajamas and pulled on some jeans, a t-shirt,socks, gloves, hat, scarf and a leather duster she had picked up on her way. She shoved her feet into her Doc Marten's and promptly left her room in the isolated cabin in the town. She was in there because no one seemed to like her and she felt it best to stay out of their way.
She crunched her way down the gravel roads, hands shoved deep into her pockets and followed the trail she did every night, to the centre of town and more importantly, the liquor store. She broke in every night and grabbed a bottle of whiskey, depending on her mood depended on the size of the bottle. That night, she was fine and only took a small bottle. With it firmly in her hand, she left to sit in the middle of the road, near the entrance to the town. She did this every night so the people on night duty, even when they changed people, knew who she was and left her to it. They were used it by now. She didn't distract them and they could do their job.
She knew she was lonely but there was nothing she could do to remedy it, and so, she only embraced it. Alexis looked up at the clear sky and saw all of the stars. She supposed she was like one of them. No matter how close you seem you are to others, you are always millions of light years away.
