This is a supernatural encyclopedia put together by hunters, researchers, and supernatural beings. Credit will be given where credit is due. Here you will find everything you need to know about the universe you’ve just stepped into and the creatures you’ll run into along the way.
__________HUMANS__________
Human beings are varied creatures, made up of several different races, religions, cultures, and moralities. Their strengths lie in their survival instincts as individuals. Humans, as a species, have a drive to not only survive, but to excel and flourish. Humans fight for their existence and, when threatened, have the ability to band together in order to utilize multiple strengths in multiple people in order to accomplish a goal or complete a task. All humans share one weakness: they’re mortal and can be killed by many things.
Civilians
Any human being who does not have a supernatural or psychic ability and has not been trained in combating the supernatural is considered a civilian. Although they may not be as well trained in the world of the supernatural as others, civilians are an important part of the world, since they make up most of it. They all have their individual talents and strengths as well as shortcomings and weaknesses. Although some civilians may have knowledge of the supernatural and may even learn some self-defense tactics, they don’t typically actively go out hunting for supernatural beings.
Hunters
Human beings who have learned to combat the supernatural are called hunters. Experience levels and hunting styles vary. Some have been “in the business” for their entire lives, and some have only just started. These people have knowledge of the supernatural world and actively combat it. They typically have training in hand to hand combat and with various weapons.
Croatoan-Infected (Level 1)
A human being becomes infected with the Croatoan virus when living infected blood makes contact with the non-infected person’s bloodstream. This is confirmed to be the only way the virus can spread. It can not be spread through other bodily fluids such as saliva. There must be blood-to-blood contact.
Other living creatures, such as animals and plants, are immune to the Croatoan virus at this time.
When a person first becomes infected, he or she will remain his or her normal self for some time afterwards. Symptoms begin to manifest as early as three hours and as late as five hours after blood contact. Symptoms include: strange and sometimes inappropriate social behavior, seemingly random emotional outbursts or acts of violence, an increased tolerance for pain and decreased response to painful stimuli, an uncontrollable desire to harm others, lack of guilt or remorse for their actions, a decreased understanding of right and wrong.
Over time, an infected human may develop heightened strength, speed, and reflexes. They may also develop a heightened sense of smell, especially when blood is involved. An infected human can sense other infected humans and will always target the uninfected.
Croats of all infection levels are still human and still mortal. Anything that would harm or kill a normal human will do the same to a Croat.
Level 1 Croats are in the early- to mid- stages of the Croatoan infection. They still retain their intelligence and their personality, but they have a drive to spread the virus to uninfected people. They’re violent and their goal is to cause a bleeding injury in someone else in order to mix their own infected blood with that person’s.
Possible Strengths of All Level 1 Croats:
- Heightened strength, speed, and reflexes
- Heightened senses
- Higher pain tolerance
- Ability to sense of other Croats
- Immune to demonic possession
Note: Not all Croats have to have all these abilities, especially early on in the infection stage. If your character is a Croat and you’d like them to have additional abilities, you must get permission from an admin.
Weaknesses of All Level 1 Croats:
- Can be killed by anything that would kill a human
- Have a strong urge to harm and infect uninfected humans
- No longer have a clear understanding of right and wrong
- Will become less human the longer they’re infected without treatment
Croatoan Infected (Level 2) (BANNED)
Level 2 Infected are in the later stages of the Croatoan infection. They retain enough intelligence to wield a weapon, and may have enough of their humanity left to hold a conversation. However, once the virus has progressed to this stage it is highly unlikely the infected human would have any desire to engage in conversation or socialize. They are hostile, extremely violent, and have no sense of remorse or reason. Some may be cannibalistic, feeding on the flesh and blood of both infected and uninfected humans.
The longer a person is infected, the stronger and faster they become. They also do not need as much sleep or nourishment as a normal human or a Level 1 Croat would.
Strengths of Level 2 Croats:
- Heightened speed, strength, and reflexes
- Heightened senses
- Extremely high pain tolerance
- Ability to sense other Croats
- Immune to demonic possession
- Need less sleep to function
- Need less nourishment (food and water) to function
Weaknesses of Level 2 Croats:
- Can be killed by anything that would kill a human
- Have an uncontrollable urge to infect or kill uninfected humans
- Some crave human flesh and blood as nourishment, of both infected and uninfected
- Do not have as much intelligence as a normal human or a Level 1 Croat
- Can not have normal relationships or conversations with other people
- Experience no guilt or remorse
Note: Level 2 Croats are not currently available for play. They may be NPC’d in threads, but we will not accept applications for them.
There is a vaccination that has been developed that is meant to prevent uninfected humans from contracting the Croatoan virus. However, there is a very limited supply of the vaccination and it hasn’t passed through all of the official testing processes of the medical community.
A warning: versions of this vaccination are being sold on the streets or given to free clinics. The vaccinations offered from those places are NOT guaranteed to be safe and effective and may in fact have been compromised. I would advise you not to receive a vaccination from free clinics or unauthorized distributors.
There is a treatment Level 1 infected humans may use to significantly slow the progression of the virus. Be advised that this is not a cure, and the sooner after infection one begins treatment, the more effective it will be. This treatment comes in two varieties: an injection and a capsule.
The capsule should be taken daily and the infected human can maintain their current state of infection for as long as they continue taking the medication. Please note that the treatment will only be effective if the capsule is taken regularly and remains in the infected person’s bloodstream. If one misses a dosage, the virus will immediately begin progressing quickly and vigorously and symptoms will present themselves. How quickly the relapse occurs varies depending on the length of time the infected individual has been using the treatment and how far along the virus had progressed prior to treatment. If action is not taken to administer the required dosage of medication, the virus will progress as it would if the individual had never received treatment.
The injection is meant to be used when someone had neglected to take the capsule and has relapsed due to the infection. Injecting the medication directly into the bloodstream will cause it to act immediately and temporarily fight the virus. It should not be used as a replacement for the capsule and does not provide a long-term treatment. The injection can also be used immediately after someone is infected to potentially overpower the virus in the beginning stages of infection, and put it into a state of dormancy. This result can only be achieved if the injection is administered before symptoms manifest in the infected individual.
When the virus is treated with an injection very early in the infection stages (before symptoms manifest) symptoms will not manifest. However, the individual will still carry a dormant form of the Croatoan virus in their blood, and will still be able to spread the infection through blood contact with others. However, a dormant infected human will not possess any of the heightened abilities of a typical infected human. It is also possible for a dormant infected to be re-infected by a Level 1 or Level 2 infected, in which case the injection would not be able to over-power the virus and the individual would need to begin treatment.
__________GIFTED__________
Humans with psychic or mystical abilities are considered gifted. These abilities can vary widely and originate in a number of ways. Gifted humans are still human and can be harmed or killed by anything that would harm or kill a normal human.
Psychics
Any human being with one or more mental abilities is called a psychic. Psychic abilities range in type and power, but all of them involve the mind in one way or another. These are not powers that require the use of external forces, and most require exercise to be useful.
Possible Psychic Abilities Include:
- Telekinesis – the ability to move objects with one’s mind.
- Telepathy – the ability to mentally communicate with others.
- Pyrokenisis – the ability to manipulate fire using the will of one’s mind.
- Premonition – the ability to receive visions of the future.
- Aura reading – the ability to see the energy a being projects that reveals its true nature.
- Clairvoyance – the ability to see things ordinary humans cannot.
- Clairaudience – the ability to hear things ordinary humans cannot.
- Empathy – the ability to sense the emotions of others.
- Energetic healing – the ability to heal oneself and/or others using energy.
- Intuition – the ability to sense when someone or something harmful is nearby.
- Medium – the ability to communicate with the dead.
- Psychometry – the ability to receive information or insight from touching an object.
- Retrocognition – the ability to receive visions of past events.
Witches
Human beings with the ability to control or manipulate the elements and the ability to spell-cast are called witches. All of them get their powers in different ways and can use their power for good or for evil. Some are born with magical abilities, others train themselves to be able to work with the elements, and others worship demons in exchange for power. Witches can be male or female, good or evil, and their power levels and experience levels vary.
Possible Abilities of Witches Include:
- Spellcasting – the ability to perform a spell using magic and energy.
- Scrying – the ability to locate someone or something with the aid of an object.
- Energetic healing – the ability to heal oneself or others using energy.
- Intuition – the ability to sense someone or something that means one harm.
- Necromancy – the ability to summon spirits or resurrect the dead.
Prophets (LIMITED)
People who receive visions or messages from angels are called prophets. They receive messages from Heavenly forces and are typically compelled to document them somehow. Prophets are protected by archangels, who will be summoned if the prophet is threatened and protect him or her at all costs.
Note: Prophets will be scrutinized carefully during the application process, and we do not want a large population of them as of now, so we are accepting them on a limited basis.
Special Children (LIMITED)
Special children are people who were fed demon blood at some point in their lives, and have the potential do develop psychic abilities of demonic origin. Typically, they are fed demon blood during infancy or early childhood and any abilities they may have are dormant until something triggers them to become active. In order to strengthen, control, and fully access their powers, special children need to train and develop them in some way. Special children are still human and can be harmed or killed in the same ways a normal human can.
Possible Abilities of Special Children Include:
- Telekinesis – the ability to move objects with one’s mind.
- Telepathy – the ability to communicate mentally with others.
- Superhuman strength – the ability to perform unnatural and extraordinary feats of strength.
- Mind reading – the ability to perceive the thoughts of others.
- Mind control – the ability to influence someone’s actions by manipulating their mind.
- Premonitions – the ability to receive visions of future events.
- Teleportation – the ability to jump through time and space to move from one location to another very quickly.
- Death touch – the ability to kill another by touching them.
- Demonomancing – the ability to will a demon to one’s location using one’s mind. (This is an advanced ability that would have to be developed over time.)
- Demon exorcism – the ability to exorcise a demon from its host using one’s mind. (This is an advanced ability that would have to be developed over time.)
Note: This is a list of abilities based on what we’ve already seen from canon special children and the powers most demons tend to have. If you would like to think up other abilities, you may do so as long as they’re reasonable.
Also, keep in mind that each special child only had one main ability to begin with that seemed to develop into a more advanced ability. A special child should have one, maybe two abilities at the most, and should train in some way to acquire the second.
__________DEMONS__________
Demons are mostly malevolent beings, sometimes mistaken for spirits by those who aren’t completely aware of the supernatural. Most demons started out as humans, but when they died and went to Hell, they lost their humanity. They all appear as black smoke in incorporeal form, and all must possess and take control of a human host in order to manifest. A demon can be driven out of a human host and sent to Hell through an exorcism. Some demons leave traces of sulfur when they pass through an area. A human host can not be physically harmed while a demon is possessing the body unless the body is given a mortal wound. In that case, the body will function as long as the demon remains in it, but will die and decay once it leaves. Demons can be trapped by various versions of the Seal of Solomon (also known as a Devil’s Trap). Demons can also lock themselves in a human host using a binding link, or a spell. Demons cannot die in the way that other beings can, having died already and truly residing in the afterlife. The Colt revolver and the rune knife can effectively dispel a demon for a long period of time. Hearing the words “Deus” and “Christo” said aloud will make a demon flinch violently and reveal their true nature.
Note: the Colt revolver is currently in the possession of Dean Winchester, the rune knife is currently in the possession of Ruby, and a second rune knife is being shared by Greg Marsh and Jo Harvelle. These objects can not be used freely by other people.
“Deus” is the Latin translation for God.
“Christo” is the Latin translation for Christ.

Black-Eyed Demons
A varied group of demons, B.E.D.’s display a wide range of characteristics and abilities. Their eyes turn liquid black during possession, but this feature can be controlled by the demon and their eyes can appear normal. Their abilities and power levels vary. Black-eyed demons are vulnerable to or weakened by: holy water, exorcism, rock salt barriers, rock salt ammunition, the Colt revolver, and the rune knife. Holy water will cause a B.E.D.’s eyes to turn black and will cause him or her pain.
Yellow-Eyed Demon
Currently, the only known Yellow-Eyed demon in existence is Azazel, and he was dispelled with the Colt revolver by Dean Winchester. His current status and whereabouts are unknown. The irises and pupils of a human possessed by Azazel will turn yellow, a feature that can be turned on and off by the demon. Azazel can possess supernatural beings other than humans, including Reapers. Cattle deaths, electrical storms, temperature fluctuations, and complications with electrical devices and timepieces occur when Azazel is present. He is not affected by Holy water or rock salt barriers. Azazel is vulnerable to and weakened by: exorcism, the Colt revolver, and the rune knife.
Red-Eyed Demons
Also known as Crossroads Demons, these beings make deals with people in exchange for their souls. In order to make a deal with a R.E.D., one must locate the center of a dirt or gravel crossroads (the point where two roads intersect, and the veil between dimensions wears thin). The deal-maker must then make an offering, putting graveyard dirt in a box along with a bone of a black cat and a photo of himself or herself. This will summon the demon, and negotiations can be made. Once a verbal agreement is settled, the contract is sealed with a kiss between the demon and the deal-maker. The abilities of a R.E.D. vary, depending on the types of deals they specialize in. They are vulnerable to or weakened by: Holy water, rock salt barriers, rock salt ammunition, exorcism, the Colt revolver, and the rune knife.
White-Eyed Demons
These are not necessarily the most powerful demons, but they are the oldest, coming from the earliest generations of demons. The host’s eyes will appear completely white while possessed by a W.E.D. Their power levels and abilities vary, but they are typically more powerful than Black-Eyed demons because they are older and their strength has built up over time. Some are resistant to or unaffected by typical defenses against demons. These weaknesses vary depending on the individual demon.
Other Types of Demons
- Daevas: Shadow demons that can be summoned and controlled; invisible to most beings with the exception of their shadows.
- Disaster-Causing Demons: Demons that dwell between the world of the living and the world of the dead; can be good or bad; have the ability to alter the natural world to create natural disasters and phenomena.
- Hellhound: Demonic dogs that serve demons in Hell; invisible on the physical plane; a person who sells his or her soul to a Crossroads Demon will be hunted and killed by a Hellhound when the deal runs out; can be barred by rock salt barriers, a vine called Devil’s Shoestring, and goofer dust, can be harmed by rock salt ammunition.
- Rakshasa: Shapeshifting demons that eat humans; can appear and reappear at will; can remain invisible for long periods of time; cannot enter a home without being invited.
- Rawhead: Water demons who inhabit deep bodies of water; they pray on children, dragging them to their underwater dwellings.
- Succubi: Demons that take on the form of a woman, seducing men in their dreams and feeding on their energy.
- Incubi: Demons that take on the form of a man, seducing and often impregnating women in their sleep and feeding on their energy.
__________ANGELS__________
An incorporeal (non-material), divine being that serves God is an angel. All angels must enter a human host in order to walk on earth. The host is called a vessel and the angel must get permission from the human before it can use him or her as a vessel. Their true voices and forms cannot be withstood by most beings. Angels can teleport and have heightened strength. Some angels can put humans to sleep by willing it and some can bend time and space. Angels are expected to obey orders without question or guilt. Some can exorcise demons by physically touching them and willing them out of their hosts. They are repelled or barred by a Banishing Sigil drawn with the blood of an angel’s vessel. Some have telekinesis. They can perceive other non-corporeal beings, such as demons and reapers. Archangels are high-ranking and the only angels to have seen God. Fallen angels are angels who have lost their grace and become human.
Workers
These are the equivalent of personal assistants for other angels. They perform a variety of tasks that make up the grunt work higher ranking angels are too busy to do.
Cherubs
Also called cupids, cherubs are responsible for romantically pairing humans.
Soldiers
These are the angels who are most commonly encountered by humans. Their duties require them to frequent the earthly plane often and associate with humans. They take orders from higher ranking angels and carry them out. (Castiel and Uriel)
Superiors
The equivalent of generals in Heaven’s army. They supervise and advise soldiers and supervise them to make sure they’re carrying out their orders. (Anna)
Virtues
Also called muses, virtues are responsible for sparking inspiration and creativity in humans.
Archangels
Heaven’s most powerful weapons, there are five known archangels, four of which have seen God and one of which is fallen. – see Almighty.
Seraphim
These are the big bosses in Heaven. They hold a lot of sway and influence over all angels beneath them. (Zachariah)
Fallen
Angels who have fallen from Heaven.
__________HYBRIDS__________
Any creature that is a mixture of two different species is considered a hybrid (half something and half something else).
Half-Demons
A half-demon is someone who is half human and half demon. This means that one parent was possessed when the child was conceived. Half demons are typically more powerful than full demons, but their powers are often dormant for the bulk of their lives. They are also mortal because of their human heritage and can be killed just like any human can. Some may also be harmed or weakened by things like rock salt and holy water. Half demons are immune to the Croatoan virus, and they are immune to demonic possession. However, they are not immune to angelic possession.
Nephilims:
A nephilim is someone who is half human and half angel. This occurs when one parent is possessed by an angel during conception. A nephilim's powers can vary, as well as its mortality. Some may be mortal while others may not, and some may age slower than others. Nephilims are immune to angelic possession, but can be possessed by certain demons.
__________OTHERS__________
These species are generally rare and may have unique properties. They may also be something that just doesn't fit into one of the other categories.
SPIRITS
A spirit is an entity whose natural state of existence is in the spiritual plane and whose natural form is incorporeal (meaning bodiless or immaterial). These beings can affect the physical plane, taking on different forms depending on what type of creatures they are.
Ghosts
A ghost is some part of a dead person that has remained in the world of the living. It can be their soul still attached to the physical plane, a powerful emotion taking the form of a ghostly entity, or an echo – a single event being replayed over and over again. It is possible for a ghost to take possession of a living person, or an object. It is also possible for them to affect electrical and battery operated appliances. Ghosts can move objects and manifest, appearing just as they looked at the moment of their deaths. Most of the time, ghosts are taken to their afterlife destination by another entity, such as a Reaper, however, sometimes a more aggressive approach is needed and their physical remains must be properly laid to rest. This requires one to “salt and burn” their bones. Salting and burning is slang for covering a ghost’s remains with rock salt and gasoline and lighting them on fire to purify and cleanse them. In some cases, a spirit is attached to an object, and salting and burning their bones is not enough to force them to cross over. In cases like these, the object they’re attached to must also be destroyed. All ghosts are weakened and temporarily dispelled by iron, and they cannot cross rock salt barriers. Some are harmed by rock salt ammunition, but it will not dispel all ghosts.
Reapers
Reapers are entities whose sole purpose is to guide lost souls to their proper destinations. They are not malevolent beings, although some people see them as being “bad” creatures due to the nature of their jobs. Reapers are not aligned with Heaven or Hell and they are truly neutral beings. In their natural form, they are invisible to most beings, but they can appear as humans if they choose to. All reapers can teleport. They can be trapped using sigils, which appear to be altered Devil’s Traps, and in corporeal (or material) form, they can be killed. Reapers can also be possessed by some demons, and controlled by some spells.
Other Types of Spirits
- Banshees: Death omens that typically appear in the form of a beautiful woman dressed in white; can become independent and harm others; typically seen near rivers; some can be used for or controlled by spells and magic; also known as a “woman in white”.
- Black Dogs: Death omens that typically appear at night in the form of black dogs with glowing red eyes; can appear and disappear at will; sometimes have no head or multiple heads; can change their size and appearance; often seen on or near roads, bridges, footpaths, crossroads, gates, doors, stairs, hallways and corridors, and graveyards.
- Buru Buru: Ghosts of people who died feeling overwhelmingly afraid; they are manifestations of fear and spread the emotion like a sickness.
-Ghost Sickness - Death Echoes: A ghost that reenacts its own death over and over again in a constant loop.
- Doppelganger: A ghostly double of a living person; can sometimes be a death omen.
- Phantoms: An unseen, unknown, and inhuman being that attacks people, leaving them with a disturbing fear of something unknown.
- Poltergeists: Mischievous, malevolent spirits.
SHAPESHIFTERS
Any creature that can change their physical form and appearance is a shapeshifter. They can be harmed by silver and killed by a blow to the heart with silver.
Skinwalkers
Skinwalkers are evil beings who gain supernatural power by murdering close relatives. They tend to be nocturnal and have an aversion to holy objects. A skinwalker is born human and has its own human form, but it can also take the form of others by shedding its skin. It can also mimic a person’s voice. Other than marked changes in behavior and demeanor, the only defining characteristic of a skinwalker is the silver glow its eyes take on, which is particularly noticeable in the dark or on camera.
Werewolves
A human who transforms into an animalistic, primal-type creature after being bitten or infected is a werewolf. There are a few different types, including Common Werewolves and Loup-garou. Common werewolves transform during the full moon cycle and grow claws and pointed teeth and take on a more animalistic appearance while still appearing largely human. They become werewolves by being bitten by one, and cannot be cured. Loup-garou are humans who can shapeshift into wolves. Some can shift at will while others can only do so during the full moon cycle. Some cannot control their shifting at all.
Sirens
Creatures that lure people to them in order to seduce and, ultimately, kill them are sirens. They can shapeshift into male or female form and can read minds and reflect the desires of their victims. They attract and infect victims via bodily fluids, forcing them to do their bidding. A siren craves love and seduces victims to experience many kinds of love. Their true form can only be seen in a mirror. They can only be killed with bronze.
Vampires
Beings that were once human, but were transformed into fanged, nocturnal creatures that feed on the blood of living beings are vampires. There are now two types of vampires: Common Vampires, and Croatoan Vampires. Croatoan Vampires have the same weaknesses as Common Vampires, but they’ve been altered by the Croatoan virus.
Common Vampires
Common Vampires live in groups (also called “nests”), and are only killed by decapitation. They have sharp, retractable teeth. They are nocturnal and, although sun is not extensively harmful to them, they dislike it. They can be harmed by Dead Man’s Blood.
Croatoan Vampires
Croatoan vampires are vampires who have been infected by the Croatoan virus, either by having blood-to-bloodstream contact with infected blood, or by ingesting the blood of a Croat. Croatoan vampires tend to break away from the urge to settle in nests and become more primal and violent. They can spread the infection to the living and fellow vampires.
__________ALMIGHTY__________
These are beings and entities that are either very unique, or uncommon. They are the most powerful beings that are known.
This title is reserved for the most powerful beings currently known. All creatures that belong in this category are very powerful, have a lot of pull and importance, and are listed by name. These beings are considered to be on equal par with one another even though they may operate differently and have different strengths and weaknesses. These are currently the most powerful and influential beings in the world, and no creatures can be as powerful as them or more powerful than them.
Horsemen
The four horsemen of the apocalypse. We don’t yet know everything about them, but what we have been able to piece together is gathered here. As we learn new information, we will update the journal accordingly.
Common Traits of All Horsemen: “They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” – Revelation 6:7-8
+Each horseman has a particular job to do, and all of them are hyper-focused on doing their jobs. Although each job is unique to each individual horseman, it is believed they are all working toward a common goal of some kind.
+It is believed that horsemen must possess the body of a human host in order to manifest on Earth, similar to the way angels and demons operate. However, the details of how they manifest are currently unknown, and there is no hard evidence to back up this assumption.
+All horsemen appear to be immortal and virtually indestructible.Note: ‘virtually’ is the key word here. Read further for more details.
+All four horsemen are indeed men, which leads us to believe they are male in gender, or at least lean more toward the masculine in their gender identities.
+All of them drive particular vehicles, although each vehicle is unique to them.
+They all have accessories or objects they wear on their person that seem to link directly to their power.
+They all have seemingly mundane objects they possess (but do not necessarily wear) that act as tools, allowing them to do their respective jobs.
+When they are in their prime condition, horsemen do not need to eat or sleep in order to function. They can, but it isn’t necessary unless they are weakened.
Pad of Definitions
+Tools: Tools are objects used by horsemen that allow them to do their jobs. They are typically ordinary objects that look fairly unassuming, and are mystically altered to do very special things. Each tool is unique to each individual horseman. Destroying a horseman’s tool stops him from doing his job and the longer a horseman goes without doing his job, the weaker he becomes. It is possible for a horseman to obtain a new tool and resume his duties, so destroying a horseman’s tool will not permanently weaken or incapacitate him. The longer a horseman performs his job, the stronger he becomes. Tools can potentially be used to harm the horseman himself, but getting a tool away from a horseman is no easy task. He will do anything he can to protect it and to get it back if it is lost.
+Accessories: An accessory is an item worn on a horseman’s person that protects him and greatly enhances his strength and power. Each horseman has a specific accessory unique to him. Destroying a horseman’s accessory will strip him of his mystical protection and severely lessen his power, leaving him vulnerable. Accessories are magically programmed to stick with their horsemen and have a way of finding their way back to their owners and bringing misfortune to anyone who wrongfully tries to take possession of them. The longer an accessory is away from a horseman, the more vulnerable to human weakness he becomes. Human weaknesses include injury, sickness, aging, and emotional distress. Accessories are magically protected and cannot be destroyed by normal means. It is not possible for a horseman to get a new accessory once his is destroyed, but it is possible to repair an accessory with a great deal of energy and effort. However, the accessory would be severely damaged and would not be as effective.
+Vehicles: Each horseman has a distinct vehicle he drives in a specific color. Vehicles are usually imbued with certain powers specific to the horsemen, and they are resistant to the typical inconveniences of a vehicle like running out of gas or oil. They appear to run more on mystical energy than typical fuel and fluids. All the vehicles are hidden by magic, making them difficult to locate. Destroying a horseman’s vehicle will make it difficult for him to travel and make it easier to locate him. It is possible for a horseman to drive vehicles other than his own, but they will not be imbued with the power of his true vehicle.
Destroying one of the three objects will hinder a horseman. Destroying two will greatly weaken him. Destroying all three will incapacitate him. However, keep in mind that a horseman can always obtain a tool that allows him to do his job and as long as he can do his job he can build up his strength.

The order in which the horsemen manifested is unclear, however it seems Death is the oldest of them, having been in existence as long as life has.
Archangels
Archangels are the highest ranking angels in Heaven. They have been described as Heaven’s most powerful weapons. Michael and Lucifer are the most powerful of all archangels. Like Horsemen, archangels have individual jobs, but their duties do not hinge on the use of mystical objects. There are six known archangels, only four of which have seen God.
Common Traits of All Archangels
+They can incinerate a lesser angel by touch.
+They can cause negative affects on the land around them when they manifest on Earth.
+They can call energy to them and use it to affect the area around them in various ways.
+They must possess a human host, but cannot do so without receiving verbal permission. An archangel’s human host must be more than ordinary in order to sustain them for a long period of time.
+They can be trapped in a circle made of Holy Oil and lit on fire, not unlike a Devil’s Trap can trap a demon.
+They can be banished or repelled by an Angel Banishing sigil. It must be drawn in the blood of an angel’s vessel.
+They can be barred from a building by Enochian sigils.
+They can teleport.
+They can sense the presence of other creatures, and often identify their species.
+Their true voice can be heard by some special beings, but can be very damaging to others.
+Can manipulate the minds of humans.
+Can manipulate time and space.
+Can exorcise demons by touch.
+Can be killed with an angel blade.
+They have telekinesis.
+Can send visions to a prophet.
Pad of Definitions
+Angel Banishing Sigil – This symbol, when drawn in the blood of an angel’s vessel (or host) will banish an angel from the vicinity. An angel does not to be in the body of a vessel in order for the blood to be effective.
+Enochian Sigils – This symbol, when drawn in the blood of an angel’s vessel (or host) will prevent an angel from entering a building. An angel does not have to be in the body of a vessel for the blood to be effective.
+Holy Oil – Holy oil can be found in Jerusalem and it can be used to trap an angel of any rank. Pouring holy oil in a circle and lighting it on fire while an angel is standing inside traps the angel in the circle.
Note: Holy oil isn’t impossible to obtain, but you can’t exactly pick it up at the local convenience store. Keep that in mind.
+Angel Blade (also known as an Angel Killing Sword) – These are weapons carried by some angels, and they vary in power and effectiveness. An archangel’s blade is more powerful than the blade of a lesser angel.

Lucifer

Lucifer is one of the four archangels to have seen God. He is one of the most powerful archangels, rivaled only by Michael.
Michael

Michael is the head archangel and the commander. He is one of the most powerful archangels, rivaled only by Lucifer.
Gabriel
Vessel: some dude, history to be determined
Gabriel is the protector of Prophets and known as the “Might of God” and the communicator.
Raphael
Vessel: some chick, history to be determined.
Raphael is a healer and known as the Patron of Travelers. He helps with inward spiritual journeys.
Azrael
Vessel: some dude, history to be determined.
Azrael is the angel of death and known as the separator of souls.
Elementals
Elementals have existed in one form or another since the fist living cells began to form on Earth. They began as a collective incorporeal force of nature without form, thought, or emotion. This force kept things balanced. When humans came about and Lucifer was cast out of Heaven, creating discourse among angels and bringing demons into existence, there was a need for elementals to take form, to be able to think and understand and to mediate between angels, demons, and earthly creatures. Elementals were brought into corporeal existence, able to pass between physical and incorporeal planes to observe human beings and keep everything in balance.
Properties and Abilities of All Elementals:
- Immorality - they may die in the physical realm, but would continue to live in the non-physical planes. After some recuperating, they would be able to resume their duties. Depending on how badly their physical form was damaged in death, they may need to take on a new form.
- Element Manipulation - all elementals hold some sway over all four elements, but have one that is their strongest and one that is their weakest.
- Neutral - all elementals should be neutral, dedicated to keeping all the planes and forces in balance.
- Communication - they can all communicate telepathically with other beings and may understand several spoken languages.
- Realm-hopping - can pass through Heaven, Hell, the earthly realm, and the spiritual realm if their duties warrant it. However, it takes energy and effort to pass from one plane and manifest in another and they may not always be welcome or wanted (particularly in Heaven or Hell).
- Healing - they can heal non-mortal wounds in themselves and others, but may or may not choose to do so.
- Psychic cloaking - they can mask their true form from humans and gifted people. Angels, demons, and some other creatures can detect their presence (such as archangels, horsemen, reapers, half-demons, and nephilims).
Each elemental has powers and abilities specific to them along with those listed, and their skill levels in all their powers vary. Not all of them are adept at all those powers. Lachlan and Aedan are currently the oldest of the four elementals and each of them has acquired the ability to shift between male and female appearance. This is not an ability the other two elementals currently have.
